Why cant I transfer my pally from Wrath>Plain

I live in the UK and for some unkown reason i signed up to the US servers.

I want to make another account and transfer my Pally who is 59 over to another account that dosent have any expansions packs so i can enjoy pre-bc to the fullest.

now my problem is when i make a new account i have to select my country of residence, i pick UK and it sends me over to the EU site, EU and US account cant mix.

what the hell do i do?

I do apologize, Ima, but characters cannot be transferred between North American and European accounts. If you wish to create a North American account and play on the US realms, you will need a North American account. Characters cannot be transferred between accounts of different regions.
When you attempt to create a new account, what happens when you select the US Reigon?
